One of Luxinnovation’s activities is to support companies that want to apply for national funding for their innovation and research projects, as well as for their projects reducing the impact of their activity on the environment.

The mission of our National Funding team is to guide and support companies through-out the process of applying for R&D and innovation, environmental protection or “Young Innovative Enterprise” funding. To strengthen the team, we are looking for an Advisor (m/f) :

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Analyse funding applications (technical aspects, financial statements and investment plans) and support the decision-making process concerning the allocation of public co-funding, write summary notes and monitor a portfolio of companies in various sectors of activity.
  • Carry out eligibility checks of companies applying for funding for their R&D and innovation projects : financial analysis, analysis of resources, analysis of the economic operating strategy and more broadly of the company’s business plan.
  • Promote funding programmes for R&D and innovation activities, as well as for environmental protection.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Holder of a master’s degree (“bac+5” in the French university system) in economics, finance, business management or a dual scientific/management profile.
  • Ideally, a first experience in an activity related to innovation, business consulting or finance.
  • Very good skills in financial analysis.
  • Oral and written proficiency in French and English. Fluency in Luxembourgish and/or German is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to produce summary notes.
  • General knowledge of project management.
  • Relational ease allowing you to interact with partners at relevant ministries, financial partners and business managers.
  • Be organised, flexible and autonomous and have excellent listening and analytical skills.
