Your GDPR regulations in full compliance
Dr. Muhammad Umer Wasim, CEO of Devseis (a startup hosted in the University of Luxembourg Incubator), wishes to help start-ups in their efforts to comply with the various GDPR legislation.
How did you come up with the idea ?
I came across a non-profit organization that has been doing amazing work for societies around the globe. However, after joining the network I realized that its business model is not GDPR compliant. This is an unfortunate truth and could lead to heavy penalties in terms of GDPR violations. Later I saw this as a common trend in start-ups that at an early stage cannot bear the cost for achieving compliance. To sort out this issue, I created GDPR4Startup programme. The main objective is the contribution toward the society by giving free service for GDPR compliance and helping start-ups to do it right from the start.
Explain the concept to me ?
GDPR4Startups is an exciting initiative, where we support start-ups who would like to ensure that they are GDPR compliant. The market cost of this programme is from €15,000 to €20,000 but we are giving this service for free to support other startups. GDPR4Startups comprise of a GDPR webinar specifically designed for the startups, followed by a one-month free consultancy service that identify and ensure GDPR compliance for core personal data processing activity of your start-up.
How is it perceived by your customers ?
Our customers perceive GDPR4Startups as a start-up care service that help them to avoid GDPR fine and to make informed and timely decisions regarding personal data protection.
What are your targets ?
We are happy to help start-ups from any sector.
Are you only targeting Luxembourg ?
For now, yes.
Other projects in sight ?
Not yet. Our core business is already keeping us busy with the two products – GraaS & TrustChain.
